THE LESSONS BIG BANG TAUGHT ME

Everyone who's on my Facebook would know that I'm currently crazy about Big Bang.

It is true.

Of course, I'm a big fan of their music. But more than that, after watching clips on their interviews, TV show appearances as well as their daily videos, what I also admire about them is the sense of teamwork and the friendship that establish the foundation of the group.

It is not easy, to maintain a solid partnership in a band and I think Big Bang's success factor is all the team mates respect for their leader - G Dragon. This dude is not appealing to me, to be frank - I am not a fan of his style and he is overly pretty, so it freaks me out! But he impresses me with his talent, his music and his leadership.

In addition to a very capable group leader, they are bonded by a strong friendship, which I believe got them through the years. I love the feeling of working together in a team, especially with people that I respect and love. I always remember how awesome it was back in college with my team, working on our final year projects. When I see Big Bang, I thought of those days.

Each Big Bang members know each other so well - their crazy antiques and their habits. We were like that back then. We know our team mates so well - and we somehow how how they are going to react and behave if certain things were said or done. That's how well we know each other, because of the amount of time we spent together. Those were the good old days! :)

Our Big Bang Team :)

Of course, now I have a new 'family', new people that I work with...

Big Bang is the only Korean Band that I feel produces a unique type of music that really makes a difference. Hence I feel no shame liking their music.

Of course their good looks are also a selling point! and I love their craziness...I feel that if they actually speak English/Cantonese, I could most probably fit right in because I am that crazy!!!

However, I feel like they are getting more serious - maybe because they are growing up slowly?
I don't like them serious though ...

But then, my research reveals an "incident" that happened to the Big Bang last year...and to be frank, I was very very sad for them.

Daesung was involved in an accident, which he accidentally 'killed' a boy, who was lying on the road.
To be frank, one can't really hold Daesung guilty (he was released of course), because the boy on the road was under alcohol influence, and he most likely has caused all the accident.

I totally understand how Daesung must be feeling, to know that he had indirectly "killed" someone because he couldn't break in time.

Daesung used to be a very energetic and hilarious boy and he said in an interview, he is now doubting if he is allowed to even laugh again...That statement really pierced my heart because I understand the level of guilt he must be feeling. I can't imagine if I am in that situation...To think that you don't deserve to laugh or be happy, because of something you have done in the past must be awful...

If I can say one thing to Daesung, I'd say that he still deserve to be happy and to bring joy back to his fans and the people who love and support him. Everyone has a past, and everyone makes mistakes, and I really don't think he has to beat himself up. And I truly wish him all the happiness he deserve. I really hope that he can revert to his cheerful personality, like how he was before, always clowning around and making jokes.

G-Dragon was in a separate news for smoking marijuana.
I understand from a lot of video clips that GD is always very stressed with his work, and is always looking very tired, mainly due to work.

Again I am not condoning drugs but I think we need to give GD a break. We all know that life can get to us sometimes - stress, work, people, etc...and sometimes, we might make a wrong move. I guess that's what happened to GD and I don't blame him. Perhaps in Korea, when a celebrity does that, it is bad influence to the fans. But as a sensible person, we should know that even celebrities are human and sometimes, they make mistakes.

Of course, some people might not accept it. I for once, think this isn't really a major offense. He did not harm anyone...

I just think it is fortunate that it was discovered and that the track has been set straight.
It doesn't matter who's fault it is actually, to me, more important is that GD is no longer under the influence of drugs and that he has moved on to something better.

There are a lot of things to be learned in life.
Even from pop stars and musicians.

That's why I am currently so into Big Bang. And the more I learn about them, the more fascinated I am with their life stories :)

It's more than just their looks, but their stories and who they are.

Till next time....
p/s: I love my Taeyang and I really hope he finds the love of his life soon! :)
If I have time, one of my next posts will be on why I love Taeyang and it's NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HIS LOOKS!

Taeyang is really like the Sun - too hot to handle!
And I'll let you in a secret, he can get ANYTHING from me with that cheeky smile man!

Love,
TammyC
and I am also born under the Sun Starsign!
