FRIENDSHIP & LOVE

Just officially bounced up from an incredible wedding event last night. It was such a beautiful wedding because while the couple celebrated their 10th year anniversary in matrimony, the rest of us, we celebrated friendship. Because it was through friendship that they discovered LOVE. The wedding blended in so many beautiful memories of us back in school - like a reunion to celebrate a union of a couple we have known for so long. Work and life might have drifted all of us apart, but I love it when we are all gathered together like this, reminiscing good times and discussing future.

JT and Wei Sin's love story has been a part of us since we were 20 years young back in college and all of us have seen them both grow to the man and woman they are now. From college, to Liverpool, to joining the workforce and now maturing into husband and wife roles (hopefully they will play roles of parents too soon), they have always been the kindest and nicest to me. I am ashamed that I have never been a better friend to them. I am truly blessed to be able to witness the incredible journey of their growth as an individual, as well as a couple.

There are so many various ways of interpreting #LOVE, because different people sees it so differently. But perhaps some of the best ones are those that bloomed from friendship because Barney sings this: "Friends are special, so important they make the world go round, friends are there to help each other when one is feeling sad, being friends is very special be a friend then you'll be glad". <3 div="" nbsp="">

Congratulations again to J.T. Jia Teng and Yew Weisin! You guys are a stunning couple (both inside and out). I wish the both of you all the most beautiful things in life, and may you both continue to grow old together, and that with each day, your love for each other grows stronger and deeper. May both of you have CHILDREN and GRANDCHILDREN and GREAT-GRANDCHILDEN (copied from script)....

P/s: Reached home 430AM, slept at 530AM - this dinner made us forget we are 30-year-old trying to be college students again. It was fun, but not sure if we can do it again when we are 40 😆. And great job Derick Gan for making us all laugh again and to Yoke Man L for doing such a professional job with emcee-ing. And I just want to thank God for helping me through haha.
