I TURN TO CHRISTINA AGUILERA

I still remember I was a hater back then. I hated everything that is not Britney Spears. Super childish but yes, I was in that phase where you hated the competitor of the artist you like.

So I grew up "hating" Christina Aguilera although I know some of her songs are pretty awesome. So hearing this song on radio the other day brought back so many teenage memories. I do not dislike Christina Aguilera anymore and now I really enjoy some of her music. Like this one in particular, is one of my favourites by her. 

To be able to find someone you can turn to for motivation, support and love is not an easy thing to do. But I love how she sang about love being inspirational. Love, doesn't have to be someone you are in  a relationship with, it can be between friends and family too. I am grateful and blessed that I've always have people who love me so much that I am inspired to do my best and carry on with life. Feeling loved is such a great feeling, whether it is real or not. I have many people to thank to be able to feel loved.

It is weird because tomorrow is Father's Day and I know this song is a bit odd, but I think some of the lyrics apply to dads as well. Don't you think? For one thing, I always turn to my dad for advice and has always motivated us when life get tough. And he has always provided us the shelter from the rain, literally. So, let's dedicate this song to all the dads out there who has been the shelter through all the rain, for truth that will never change, for someone to lean on.
