NOT SO GLEEFUL JULY, SO I TURNED OFF THE TV

July, the seventh month of the year.

Moving on swiftly pass the half year mark as we embrace the bulk of challenges being thrown at our way. July seems to really fly, maybe because it has much sadness and trouble to offer, but today, has its fair share of joy. Our family celebrated my sister who has just quit her miserable job. When you finally let go of something to face a new beginning, it is definitely something great!

The sad thing about today was receiving the news about Glee's lead actor, Cory Monteith's death. It is almost insane that when I got the news from my friend on Facebook, I couldn't believe it until moments later, it was confirmed by CNN and all the major news portals. It was really shocking because it happened so abruptly.

Cory Monteith was my favourite in Glee and my dream guy for a period of time until I "ditched" him for the likes of Taeyang, Kang Gary and the other Chrises. Still I was once madly in love with him and it was a dream of mine to be able to meet him someday, when the Glee cast come to perform in Malaysia. It is really sad to hear that he has left us all.

Cory Monteith will forever be remembered as the babyfaced cutie that I adored and loved so much on Glee. I will forever remember your songs on Glee. RIP

I got a call from a friend and texts because almost everyone knew about my once-upon-a-time Cory infatuation. I am very touched.

Cory's death reminds me once again about how fragile life is. Really, we need to make sure we enjoy every moment and treasure all the good times. Death is uninvited and He comes when he wants to. Cory was found dead, alone in a hotel in Vancouver, although the cause of death is still unknown as of now. I read that there is something to do with drugs but I am not sure. Whatever it is, the whole incident is heartbreaking because he is such a young lad and it is so surreal that he is no longer a part of us.

Really sad...I did not cry, but I am really sad.

July hasn't been full of wonders. Yet we move on.

Next week should be super hectic, but at least I have the Company trip to look forward to. But then again, everytime I get excited over trips, I will be let down. I guess I shall just go with the flow and not expect anything. Perhaps that's the best way to live life - to be grateful and embrace anything that comes your way.

Today I'd just like to end the post with a song. Perhaps just a song I enjoy for no particular reason. It is by LeeSsang and it is called Turn Off The TV. The entire song is about Sex, hence its lyrics were really controversial. Oh well, just screw the lyrics and enjoy the song because Kang Gary never fails to impress us with his writing - be it a sexual song, a love song or a song about life.
