WE'RE FIREWORKS WITH A WET FUSE

I am not a huge fan of club songs or EDM, but this one by ZEDD has got me hooked. I can't stop listening to both the club version (especially) as well as the acoustic version. It is the OST of Divergent, and although I am also not crazy about the movie, I am embarrassed to admit that this song is really not bad. I don't know why but the beat of the song elevates me into a higher space in my mind - like it takes my imagination to some place really high with beautiful city lights.

Despite being a commercialised club hit, this song actually has a really deep meaning, and one that might resonate with you too. It is about loving someone for who they are inside and not just on the surface. It speaks about building a relationship that is special for both of you. You try to be each other, to be similar because you want to feel and understand each other. Hence, you "dances just like him/her" and "run in his/her foot steps". And you try to find out who that person you really love is and remind that person of why he/she is special when they lose themselves. And when one is 'dead', you ignite the fire within them with your love. 

So, dig deep and find out who the person you love actually is and love them for who they are inside and not just because of the boobs and the butts.
