ARE YOU CLEAN?
"The most popular joke I've heard about Bersih is that, I'd rather 'Bersihkan rumah' than go rally across KL in yellow."
My thoughts about Bersih and Lynas are simple - if you believe in it, voice it.
But if you are there just for the glamour of being a part of it, oh well, I am truly disappointed. The photos and pictures that you took from the site doesn't really justify your cause.
There are those people who make a big fuss about how the police mistreat the people. And then the government is saying that the Bersih organiser has lost control of its crowd. Then there are members of the media who feels mistreated.
To be honest, I feel that some people are using Bersih to showcase themselves rather than really wanting to make a point about "clean" election.
I am glad that there are some out there who are really into this, but seriously, for the most part, Bersih 3.0 has turned into a some sort of parade show for some to show off themselves and the 'daring' stunts they can pull. Truly disappointing. I'm particularly sick of the news reports on the rally - sickening I don't even want to read them!
After a long tiring Saturday, with sunburns and for some, the experience of being hit by teargas, and a lot of ridiculous headlines, I hope that a difference had been made.
Those who was there, they were courageous...but I believe there are also some out there who sacrifice their businesses and daily activities for this to happen - so kudos to them too.
I thank those who really went there to make a difference, and not to create "headlines" for themselves.
I wasn't there, so I need to shut up. But that's just what I feel with all the postings and news flashed at me. We were not there and we cannot take sides and I won't. Because the objective is to fight for the 'cause', and not to blame who is causing the havoc.
Cheers to Labour's Day!
Love,
